حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَوْمَ الْأَحْزَابِ مَلَأَ اللَّهُ بُيُوتَهُمْ وَقُبُورَهُمْ نَارًا كَمَا شَغَلُونَا عَنْ الصَّلَاةِ حَتَّى آبَتْ الشَّمْسُ.
Muhammad bin Abi Adi told us, on the authority of Sa`id, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Abu Hassan, on the authority of Ubaidah, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: On the Day of the Battles, God will fill their homes and graves with fire, just as they occupied us from prayer until the sun set.
