حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَضَى مُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ الدَّيْنَ قَبْلَ الْوَصِيَّةِ وَأَنْتُمْ تَقْرَءُونَ الْوَصِيَّةَ قَبْلَ الدَّيْنِ وَأَنَّ أَعْيَانَ بَنِي الْأُمِّ يَتَوَارَثُونَ دُونَ بَنِي الْعَلَّاتِ.
Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Al-Harith, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him. Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, decided that the debt had been accepted. The will, and you read the will before the debt, and that the notable sons of the mother inherit without the descendants of the relatives.
