حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أُثَيْعٍ، رَجُلٍ مِنْ هَمْدَانَ سَأَلْنَا عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ بِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ بُعِثْتَ يَعْنِي يَوْمَ بَعَثَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فِي الْحَجَّةِ قَالَ بُعِثْتُ بِأَرْبَعٍ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ إِلَّا نَفْسٌ مُؤْمِنَةٌ وَلَا يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ عُرْيَانٌ وَمَنْ كَانَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَهْدٌ فَعَهْدُهُ إِلَى مُدَّتِهِ وَلَا يَحُجُّ الْمُشْرِكُونَ وَالْمُسْلِمُونَ بَعْدَ عَامِهِمْ هَذَا.
Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Zaid bin Uthay’, a man from Hamadan. We asked Ali, may God be pleased with him, for what purpose you were sent. On the day the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, sent him with Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him, during the Hajj, he said, “I was sent with four people who will not enter Paradise.” Except for a believing soul. No naked person should circumambulate the House. Whoever has a covenant between him and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, his covenant will last for its duration and he will not perform Hajj. The polytheists and the Muslims after this year of theirs.
