حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ شُتَيْرِ بْنِ شَكَلٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْأَحْزَابِ شَغَلُونَا عَنْ صَلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ مَلَأَ اللَّهُ قُبُورَهُمْ وَبُيُوتَهُمْ نَارًا ثُمَّ صَلَّاهَا بَيْنَ الْعِشَاءَيْنِ بَيْنِ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ.
Abu Muawiyah told us, Al-A’mash told us, on the authority of Muslim, on the authority of Shutair ibn Shikal, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said Peace and blessings of God be upon him. On the Day of the Battles, they distracted us from the middle prayer, the afternoon prayer. God filled their graves and their homes with fire, then He prayed them. Between the two evening prayers, between sunset and evening prayer.
