Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #45087

Abu Muawiyah told us, Al-A’mash told us, on the authority of Al-Mundhir Abi Ya’la, on the authority of Muhammad Ibn al-Hanafiyyah, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, who said it was A man had had madhiy and was ashamed to ask the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, about madhiy. He said to Al-Miqdad, “Ask the Messenger of God for me.” May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, about madhiy. He said, so he asked him. He said, and the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “Ablution is required for it.”
