حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ سَمِعْت أَبِي يَقُولُ لَيْسَ بِالْكُوفَةِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ حَدِيثٌ أَصَحُّ مِنْ هَذَا.
Yahya told us, on the authority of Sufyan, Sulayman told me, on the authority of Ibrahim Al-Taymi, on the authority of Al-Harith bin Suwayd, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, who said: He forbade The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, on the authority of clay and asphalt. Abu Abd al-Rahman said: I heard my father saying, “It is not in Kufa.” Ali, may God be pleased with him, had a more authentic hadith than this.
