حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ يَرْفَعَ الرَّجُلُ صَوْتَهُ بِالْقِرَاءَةِ قَبْلَ الْعِشَاءِ وَبَعْدَهَا يُغَلِّطُ أَصْحَابَهُ وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ‏.‏
Khalaf told us, Khalid told us, on the authority of Mutarrif, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Al-Harith, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace He forbade a man from raising his voice when reciting before and after the evening meal, causing his companions to make mistakes while they were praying.
