حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَسْعُودِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، ثُمَّ الزُّرَقِيِّ عَنْ أُمِّهِ، أَنَّهَا حَدَّثَتْهُ قَالَتْ، لَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ وَهُوَ عَلَى بَغْلَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْبَيْضَاءِ حِينَ وَقَفَ عَلَى شِعْبِ الْأَنْصَارِ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ بِأَيَّامِ صِيَامٍ إِنَّمَا هِيَ أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ وَذِكْرٍ.
Yaqoub told us, my father told us, on the authority of Ibn Ishaq, Abdullah bin Abi Salamah told me, on the authority of Masoud bin Al-Hakam Al-Ansari, then Al-Zarqi On the authority of his mother, she told him, “It is as if I am looking at Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, as he was riding the mule of the Messenger of God.” May God’s prayers and peace be upon him in Al-Bayda when he stood over the Ansar people during the Farewell Pilgrimage, and he said, O people, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him He said that they are not days of fasting, but rather days of eating, drinking, and remembrance.
