Hadith #45215
Yazid told us, Hammad bin Salamah told us, on the authority of Hisham bin Amr, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin al-Harith bin Hisham, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him. On his authority, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to say at the end of his Witr prayer: O God, I seek refuge in Your satisfaction from Your anger, and I seek refuge in Your pardon. From your punishment, and I seek refuge in you from you, I cannot praise you as you have praised yourself.
