Hadith #45258
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ زَاذَانَ، أَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ تَرَكَ مَوْضِعَ شَعَرَةٍ مِنْ جَسَدِهِ مِنْ جَنَابَةٍ لَمْ يُصِبْهَا الْمَاءُ فُعِلَ بِهِ كَذَا وَكَذَا مِنْ النَّارِ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَمِنْ ثَمَّ عَادَيْتُ رَأْسِي.
Affan told us, Hammad bin Salamah told us, Ata’ bin Al-Sa’ib told us, on the authority of Zazan, that Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, said I heard the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: Whoever leaves a hair on his body due to ritual impurity that has not been touched by water, such and such will be done to him. Likewise, from the Fire, Ali, may God be pleased with him, said: “Then I turned against my head.”
