Hadith #45275
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرٍّ، أَنَّ عَلِيًّا، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّ قَاتِلَ الزُّبَيْرِ عَلَى الْبَابِ فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ لَيَدْخُلَنَّ قَاتِلُ ابْنِ صَفِيَّةَ النَّارَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيٌّ وَإِنَّ حَوَارِيِّي الزُّبَيْرَ بْنَ الْعَوَّامِ.
Yunus told us, Hammad, meaning Ibn Salamah, told us, on the authority of Asim, on the authority of Zirr, that Ali, may God be pleased with him, was told that the killer of al-Zubayr is at the door. Then Ali said, “Let the killer of Ibn Safiyya enter the Fire.” I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say to every prophet. A disciple, and my disciples are Al-Zubayr bin Al-Awwam.
