Hadith #45281
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا زَوَّجَهُ فَاطِمَةَ بَعَثَ مَعَهَا بِخَمِيلَةٍ وَوِسَادَةٍ مِنْ أَدَمٍ حَشْوُهَا لِيفٌ وَرَحَيَيْنِ وَسِقَاءٍ وَجَرَّتَيْنِ.
Affan told us, Hammad told us, Ata’ bin Al-Sa’ib told us, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him When he married him to Fatima, he sent with her a sham and a pillow made of human beings stuffed with fiber, palm trees, a water-skin, and two jars.
