حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْفَزَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ الْكِنَانِيُّ، عَنْ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ، قَالَ مَسَحَ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ رَأْسَهُ فِي الْوُضُوءِ حَتَّى أَرَادَ أَنْ يَقْطُرَ وَقَالَ هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَوَضَّأُ.
Marwan bin Muawiyah Al-Fazari told us, Rabi’ah bin Utbah Al-Kanani told us, on the authority of Al-Minhal bin Amr, on the authority of Zirr bin Hubaysh, he said Ali, may God be pleased with him, wiped his head during ablution until it wanted it to drip and said, “This is how I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.” He performs ablution
