Hadith #45446
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَشْجَعِيُّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ السَّلْمَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ كُنَّا نُرَاهَا الْفَجْرَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هِيَ صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ يَعْنِي صَلَاةَ الْوُسْطَى.
Abdullah narrated to us, Abu Ishaq Al-Tirmidhi narrated to me, Al-Ashja’i narrated to us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Asim, on the authority of Zirr bin Hubaysh, on the authority of Ubaidah Al-Salmani, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, said: We used to see it at dawn, and the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: It is a prayer Asr means the middle prayer.
