Hadith #45492
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، وَشُعْبَةَ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَلَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ بَعْدَ نَبِيِّهَا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ثُمَّ عُمَرُ.
Waki` narrated to us, on the authority of Sufyan, and Shu`bah, on the authority of Habib ibn Abi Thabit, on the authority of Abd Khair, on the authority of Ali, that he said, “Shall I not tell you something good?” This nation after its Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, Abu Bakr, then Omar.
