Hadith #44820
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَوْسِ بْنِ الْحَدَثَانِ، قَالَ أَرْسَلَ إِلَيَّ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ فَقُلْتُ لَكُمَا إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا نُورَثُ مَا تَرَكْنَا صَدَقَةٌ.
Abd al-Razzaq told us, Muammar told us, on the authority of al-Zuhri, on the authority of Malik ibn Aws ibn al-Hadathan, he said: Omar, may God be pleased with him, sent me So he mentioned the hadith, and I told you that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “We do not inherit anything that we leave as charity.”
