Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #45498

Abdullah narrated to us, Khalaf bin Hisham Al-Bazzar narrated to us, Abu Al-Ahwas narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Abu Hayya, he said: I saw Ali May God be pleased with him, he performed ablution and washed his hands until they were clean, then he rinsed his mouth three times, then sniffed his nose three times, and washed his face and arms three times. Three times, he wiped his head, washed his feet up to the ankles, took the remainder of his purification, and drank while standing. Then he said, “I would like to show you how.” It was the purification of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. Abdullah narrated to us, Khalaf bin Hisham Al-Bazzar narrated to us, Abu Al-Ahwas narrated to us on the authority of Abu Ishaq said, and Abd Khair mentioned on the authority of Ali, like the hadith of Abu Hayya, except that Abd Khair said that when he finished purifying himself, he took With his palms from the remains of his purification, he drank.
