حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَوْ نَهَانِي عَنْ الْمِيثَرَةِ وَالْقَسِّيِّ وَخَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ.
Muhammad ibn Ja`far narrated to us, Shu`bah narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Hubayra, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him He forbade or forbade me from using the mitre, the bowl, and the gold ring.
