حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُلْ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالسَّدَادَ وَاذْكُرْ بِالْهُدَى هِدَايَتَكَ الطَّرِيقَ وَاذْكُرْ بِالسَّدَادِ تَسْدِيدَكَ السَّهْمَ قَالَ وَنَهَى أَوْ نَهَانِي عَنْ الْقَسِّيِّ وَالْمِيثَرَةِ وَعَنْ الْخَاتَمِ فِي السَّبَّابَةِ أَوْ الْوُسْطَى.
Muhammad ibn Ja`far narrated to us, Shu`bah narrated to us, on the authority of Asim ibn Kulayb, he said, I heard Abu Burdah, he said, I heard Ali ibn Abi Talib, may God bless him and grant him peace. God, on his authority, said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Say, O God, I ask You for guidance and guidance, and remember Your guidance with guidance. The way, and remember the way you shoot the arrow. He said, “And he forbade, or forbade me from, the bow and the miter, and from the ring on the index finger or the middle finger.”
