حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ يَعْنِي الصَّنْعَانِيَّ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يُمَدَّ لَهُ فِي عُمْرِهِ وَيُوَسَّعَ لَهُ فِي رِزْقِهِ وَيُدْفَعَ عَنْهُ مِيتَةُ السُّوءِ فَلْيَتَّقِ اللَّهَ وَلْيَصِلْ رَحِمَهُ.
Abdullah narrated to us, Muhammad bin Abbad narrated to us, Abdullah bin Muadh, meaning Al-San’ani, narrated to us, on the authority of Muammar, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Asim bin Damra, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said: Whoever is pleased that his lifespan will be extended to him His provision will be expanded for him and a bad death will be averted from him, so let him fear God and maintain his mercy.
