Hadith #45654
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوَتْرَ فَأَوْتِرُوا يَا أَهْلَ الْقُرْآنِ.
Abdullah told us, Abu Khaythamah told me, Jarir told us, on the authority of Mansour, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Asim bin Damrah, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him. God, on his authority, said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Indeed, God Almighty is the stringed string and loves the string, so perform the string, O people of the Qur’an.”
