حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوَتْرَ فَأَوْتِرُوا يَا أَهْلَ الْقُرْآنِ.
Abdullah told us, Ishaq bin Ismail told me, Jarir told us, on the authority of Mansour, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Asim bin Damrah, on the authority of Ali, He said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Indeed, God is a string and loves the string, so perform the string, O people of the Qur’an.”
