حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، عَنْ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ مَرْزُوقٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الضُّحَى حِينَ كَانَتْ الشَّمْسُ مِنْ الْمَشْرِقِ مِنْ مَكَانِهَا مِنْ الْمَغْرِبِ صَلَاةَ الْعَصْرِ.
Abdullah told us, Abu Abdul Rahman Abdullah bin Omar told me, Al-Muharbi told us, on the authority of Fudayl bin Marzuq, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, On the authority of Asim bin Damrah, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed the forenoon prayer when the sun was setting. The East prayer is from its place in the Maghrib prayer, the afternoon prayer.
