Ash-Shama'il Al-Muhammadiyah — Hadith #48100

Muhammad bin Bashar told us, Safwan bin Issa told us, Muhammad bin Amr bin Issa Abu Naama al-Adawi told us, he said: I heard Khaled bin Umair, and Shuwaysa, Abu Al-Raqqad, saying: Omar bin Al-Khattab sent Utbah bin Ghazwan and said, “Go, you and those with you.” Even if you are in the farthest land of the Arabs and the lowest land of the Persians, then come until, when they are in Al-Mabad, they find this place. They said: What is this? This is Basra. So they walked until they reached the side of the small bridge, and they said: Here you are ordered, so they disembarked and mentioned the hadith in its entirety.
