Mishkat al-Masabih — Hadith #48287

On the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud, he said: We have seen that no one neglects prayer except a hypocrite whose hypocrisy is known, or a sick person if the sick person is able to walk. between two men until the prayer begins, and he said that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, taught us the Sunnahs of guidance, and indeed, of the Sunnahs Guidance is prayer in the mosque in which the call to prayer is given, and in a narration: “Whoever is pleased to meet God tomorrow as a Muslim, let him observe these five daily prayers wherever he is called.” With them, God has decreed for your Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, the laws of guidance, and they are among the laws of guidance, even if you prayed in Your homes, as this retarded person prays in his house, you have abandoned the Sunnah of your Prophet, and if you had abandoned the Sunnah of your Prophet, you would have gone astray, and no man purifies himself. So he purifies himself well, then goes to one of these mosques, but God records for him a good deed for every step he takes and raises him up. And we have seen that no one stays behind from it except a hypocrite known for his hypocrisy, and indeed the man was brought to be guided among the people. The two men until he stands in line.
