Hadith #48406
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ لِيُصَلِّيَ افْتتح صلَاته بِرَكْعَتَيْنِ خفيفتين. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
On the authority of Aisha, she said: Whenever the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, got up at night to pray, he would begin his prayer with two light rak’ahs. Narrated by Muslim
