Mishkat al-Masabih — Hadith #48513

On the authority of Aisha, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said: “Do you know what this night is?” Meaning the night of the middle of Sha`ban. She said: What is in it, O Messenger of God? He said: “In it, every one of the children of Adam is to be recorded in this year and in it. That every mortal among the sons of Adam be recorded in this The Sunnah, and in it their deeds are exalted, and in it their sustenance is descended.” She said: O Messenger of God, no one will enter Paradise except by the mercy of God Almighty? He said: “No one will enter Paradise except by the mercy of God Almighty.” Three. I said: Not even you, O Messenger of God? Then he put his hand on his forehead and said: “Not even I, unless God covers me with His mercy.” He says it three times. Narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Al-Dawat Al-Kabir
