Hadith #48515
On the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “If it is the night of the middle of Sha`ban, then get up that night and fast On that day, God Almighty descends on it at sunset to the lowest heaven and says: Is there not one who asks for forgiveness, so that I may forgive him? Am I not seeking sustenance, so I may provide for him? Is he not afflicted so I can cure him? Except such-and-such until dawn comes.” Narrated by Ibn Majah
