وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْجَنَازَةُ مَتْبُوعَةٌ وَلَا تَتْبَعُ لَيْسَ مَعَهَا مَنْ تَقَدَّمَهَا» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَأَبُو ماجد الرَّاوِي رجل مَجْهُول
On the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The funeral is followed and not followed, and there is no one with it who precedes it.” . It was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, and Ibn Majah. Al-Tirmidhi and Abu Majid said: The narrator is an unknown man.
