وَعَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ: غَزَوْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَشَهِدْتُ مَعَهُ الْفَتْحَ فَأَقَامَ بِمَكَّةَ ثَمَانِيَ عَشْرَةَ لَيْلَةً لَا يُصَلِّي إِلَّا رَكْعَتَيْنِ يَقُولُ: «يَا أَهْلَ الْبَلَدِ صَلُّوا أَرْبَعًا فَإِنَّا سَفْرٌ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ
On the authority of Imran bin Husayn, he said: I waged a campaign with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and I witnessed the conquest with him, so he stayed in Mecca for eighteen nights. He prays except two rak'ahs, saying: “O people of the land, pray four, for we are on a journey.” Narrated by Abu Dawood
