Hadith #48604
وَعَنْ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ طُولَ صَلَاةِ الرَّجُلِ وَقِصَرَ خُطْبَتِهِ مَئِنَّةٌ مِنْ فِقْهِهِ فَأَطِيلُوا الصَّلَاة واقصروا الْخطْبَة وَإِن من الْبَيَان سحرًا» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
On the authority of Ammar, he said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: “The length of a man’s prayer and the shortness of his sermon are good in his jurisprudence, so prolong it.” Prayer and shorten the sermon, even though the eloquence is magic.” Narrated by Muslim
