Hadith #48613
عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا فَمَنْ نَبَّأَكَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ جَالِسًا فَقَدْ كَذَبَ فَقَدَ وَالله صليت مَعَه أَكثر من ألفي صَلَاة. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
On the authority of Jabir bin Samurah, who said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to deliver the sermon standing, then sit, then stand up and deliver the sermon while standing. Who told you that he He was delivering the sermon while sitting, so he lied. By God, I prayed more than two thousand prayers with him. Narrated by Muslim
