عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَزَلَ بَيْنَ ضَجْنَانَ وَعُسْفَانَ فَقَالَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ: لِهَؤُلَاءِ صَلَاةٌ هِيَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِمْ مِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَأَبْنَائِهِمْ وَهِيَ الْعَصْرُ فَأَجْمِعُوا أَمْرَكُمْ فَتَمِيلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ مَيْلَةً وَاحِدَةً وَإِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَقْسِمَ أَصْحَابَهُ شَطْرَيْنِ فَيُصَلِّيَ بِهِمْ وَتَقُومَ طَائِفَةٌ أُخْرَى وَرَاءَهُمْ وَلْيَأْخُذُوا حِذْرَهُمْ وَأَسْلِحَتَهُمْ فَتَكُونَ لَهُمْ رَكْعَةٌ وَلِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَكْعَتَانِ. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَالنَّسَائِيّ
On the authority of Abu Hurairah: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, camped between Dajnan and Usfan, and the polytheists said: These people have a prayer that is more beloved to them. of their fathers and their children, and it is the afternoon, so gather yourselves and incline towards them in one inclination. And indeed, Gabriel came The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, ordered him to divide his companions into two parts and lead them in prayer, and another group would stand up after them and let them take Beware of them and their weapons, so that there will be one rak'ah for them and two rak'ahs for the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and Al-Nasa’i
