وَعَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ: قَالَ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا هَذِهِ الْأَضَاحِيُّ؟ قَالَ: «سُنَّةُ أبيكم إِبْرَاهِيم عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام» قَالُوا: فَمَا لَنَا فِيهَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ: «بِكُلِّ شَعْرَةٍ حَسَنَةٌ» . قَالُوا: فَالصُّوفُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ: «بِكُلِّ شَعْرَةٍ مِنَ الصُّوفِ حَسَنَة» رَوَاهُ أَحْمد وَابْن مَاجَه
On the authority of Zaid bin Arqam, he said: The companions of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: O Messenger of God, what are these sacrificial animals? He said: “The Sunnah of your father Abraham, peace be upon him.” They said: What do we have in it, O Messenger of God? He said: “With every good hair.” They said: What about wool, O Messenger of God? He said: “For every hair of the wool there is a good deed.” Narrated by Ahmad and Ibn Majah.
