Hadith #50166
عَنْ جَابِرٌ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا ترقبوا أَو لَا تُعْمِرُوا فَمَنْ أُرْقِبَ شَيْئًا أَوْ أُعْمِرَ فَهِيَ لوَرثَته» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Jabir, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: “Do not wait for it, or do not prolong it, for whoever waits for something or has it prolonged, it will belong to his heirs.” Narrated by Abu Dawood
