Hadith #48676
On the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “I was ordered to celebrate the Day of Sacrifice as a holiday that God has made for this nation.” A man said to him: O Messenger of God, what do you think if I do not find anything but a free female, should I sacrifice her? He said: “No, but take some of your hair.” And your nails, and your mustache, and your pubic hair, and that is the completion of your sacrifice before God.” Narrated by Abu Dawud and Al-Nasa’i
