Hadith #49059
وَعَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَتَصَدَّقُ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ أَوْ يُعْتِقُ كَالَّذِي يُهْدِي إِذَا شَبِعَ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ والدارمي وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ وَصحح
On the authority of Abu al-Darda’, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “The example of one who gives alms when he dies or frees himself is like one who He guides when he is full.” Narrated by Ahmad, Al-Nasa’i, Al-Darimi, and Al-Tirmidhi, and it was authenticated.
