Hadith #49456
On the authority of Abu Saeed: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was asked: Which of the servants will be the best and highest in rank in the sight of God on the Day of Resurrection? He said: “Men and women who remember God often.” It was said: O Messenger of God, who is the one who fights in the way of God? He said: “If he strikes with his sword against the infidels, And the polytheists until he is broken and drenched with blood, then the one who remembers God is of a higher rank than him.” Narrated by Ahmad and Al-Tirmidhi, and Al-Tirmidhi said: This is a hasan ghareeb hadith.
