Hadith #49514
وَعَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا أَصَرَّ مَنِ اسْتَغْفَرَ وَإِنْ عَادَ فِي الْيَوْمِ سَبْعِينَ مَرَّةً» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ
On the authority of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “The one who asks for forgiveness does not persist even if he repeats it on the same day.” Seventy times. Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawood
