Hadith #49529
On the authority of Abdullah bin Abbas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The dead person in the grave is nothing but like a drowning person defecating, waiting for a call.” She follows him from his father, mother, brother, or friend, and if she pursues him, it is more beloved to him than the world and all that is in it, and indeed, God Almighty He will bring upon the people of the graves the supplications of the people of the earth as great as mountains, and the gift of the living to the dead is to seek forgiveness for them.” Narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab Al-Iman
