وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسلم: «إِنَّ للَّهِ مائةَ رَحْمَةٍ أَنْزَلَ مِنْهَا رَحْمَةً وَاحِدَةً بَيْنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ وَالْبَهَائِمِ وَالْهَوَامِّ فَبِهَا يَتَعَاطَفُونَ وَبِهَا يَتَرَاحَمُونَ وَبِهَا تَعْطُفُ الْوَحْشُ عَلَى وَلَدِهَا وَأَخَّرَ اللَّهُ تِسْعًا وَتِسْعِينَ رَحْمَةً يَرْحَمُ بِهَا عِبَادَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَة»
وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ لِمُسْلِمٍ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ نَحْوُهُ وَفِي آخِرِهِ قَالَ: «فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ أَكْمَلَهَا بِهَذِهِ الرَّحْمَة»
On his authority, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Indeed, God has one hundred mercies, of which He has sent down one mercy between the jinn, mankind, and beasts.” And vermin, by means of which they show compassion, and by means of them, they show compassion to each other, and by means of it a beast has compassion for its offspring, and God has delayed ninety-nine mercies. He will have mercy on His servants with it on the Day of Resurrection.” And in a narration by Muslim on the authority of Salman, something similar, and at the end of it, he said: “So when the Day of Resurrection comes Complete it with this mercy.”
