وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: لَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَعُ هَؤُلَاءِ الْكَلِمَاتِ حِينَ يُمْسِي وَحِينَ يُصْبِحُ: «اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِينِي وَدُنْيَايَ وَأَهْلِي وَمَالِي اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِي وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِي اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدِي وَمِنْ خَلْفِي وَعَنْ يَمِينِي وَعَنْ شِمَالِي وَمِنْ فَوْقِي وَأَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَن أُغتالَ من تحتي» . قَالَ وَكِيع يَعْنِي الْخَسْف رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Ibn Umar, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not refrain from saying these words in the evening and in the morning: “Oh God, I ask you Wellness in this world and the hereafter. Oh God, I ask you for forgiveness and well-being in my religion, my worldly life, my family, and my wealth. Oh God. Cover my private parts and secure my wonderful things, O God, protect me from before me and behind me and from my right and from my left and above me, and I seek refuge in Your greatness lest I be assassinated from under me.” . Waki` said, meaning eclipse. Narrated by Abu Dawud
