Hadith #49642
On the authority of Abu Al-Yusr, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to pray: “O God, I seek refuge in You from destruction, and I seek refuge in You from ruin and drowning.” And burning and old age, and I seek refuge in You from Satan causing me to confuse me when I die, and I seek refuge in You from dying in Your way. And I seek refuge in You from dying by a sting.” Narrated by Abu Dawud and Al-Nasa’i, and in another narration he added “gloom.”
