Hadith #49749
On the authority of Safiya bint Shaybah, she said: My father’s daughter, Tajarah, told me: I entered with women from Quraysh the house of Abi Hussein’s family, looking at the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. May God bless him and grant him peace while he was running between Safa and Marwah, and I saw him running and his apron was spinning from the intensity of the running. And I heard him say: “Strive, for God has decreed for you to strive.” It was narrated in Sharh al-Sunnah, and it was narrated by Ahmad with a difference.
