Hadith #50207
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ: أَنَّ مَوْلًى لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَاتَ وَتَرَكَ شَيْئًا وَلَمْ يَدَعْ حَمِيمًا وَلَا وَلَدًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَعْطُوا مِيرَاثَهُ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ قَرْيَتِهِ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ
On the authority of Aisha: A servant of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, died and left behind nothing, but he did not leave behind an intimate partner or a child. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: He said: “Give his inheritance to a man from his village.” Narrated by Abu Dawood and Al-Tirmidhi
