وَعَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ: كَمْ كَانَ صَدَاقُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَت: كَانَ صداقه لأزواجه اثْنَتَيْ عَشْرَةَ أُوقِيَّةً وَنَشٌّ قَالَتْ: أَتَدْرِي مَا النَّشٌّ؟ قُلْتُ: لَا قَالَتْ: نِصْفُ أُوقِيَّةٍ فَتِلْكَ خَمْسُمِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ. وَنَشٌّ بِالرَّفْعِ فِي شَرْحِ السّنة وَفِي جَمِيع الْأُصُول
On the authority of Abu Salamah, he said: I asked Aisha: How much was the dowry of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace? She said: The dowry he gave to his wives was twelve ounces and one-inch. She said: Do you know what a nash is? I said: No. She said: Half an uqiyah, so that is five hundred dirhams.
