وَعَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا قَامَ الْإِمَامُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ فَإِنْ ذَكَرَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَسْتَوِي قَائِما فليجلس وَإِنِ اسْتَوَى قَائِمًا فَلَا يَجْلِسْ وَلْيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْو» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ
On the authority of Al-Mughirah bin Shu’bah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “If the imam stands in the two rak’ahs, then if he remembers before If he stands upright, let him sit, and if he stands upright, then he should not sit, and he should perform the two prostrations of forgetfulness.” Narrated by Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah
