Hadith #50549
وَعَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَنْهَاكُمْ أَنْ تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ مَنْ كَانَ حَالِفًا فَلْيَحْلِفْ بِاللَّهِ أَوْ ليصمت»
On his authority, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “God forbids you from swearing by your fathers. Whoever swears, let him swear by God.” Or to be silent”
