Hadith #49464
وَعَن بُرَيْدَةَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ الَّذِي لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ فَقَالَ: «دَعَا اللَّهَ بِاسْمِهِ الْأَعْظَمِ الَّذِي إِذَا سُئِلَ بِهِ أَعْطَى وَإِذَا دُعِيَ بِهِ أَجَابَ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Buraidah: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, heard a man say: Oh God, I ask you that you are God, there is no god but you. The One, the Eternal, the One who neither begot nor was born, nor was there anyone equal to Him, so He said: “He called upon God by His greatest name, which, when asked, He gives with it, and when he is called with it, he responds.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawood
