On the authority of Alqamah bin Wa’il, on the authority of his father, he said: A man from Hadhramaut and a man from Kindah came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the Hadhrami said: Oh Messenger of God, this man defeated me over a land of mine. Al-Kindi said: This is my land, and in my hands he has no right to it. The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: May God bless him and grant him peace, to Al-Hadrami: “Do you have any proof?” He said: No. He said: “His oath is for you.” He said: O Messenger of God, the man is an immoral person. He does not care about what he swore to do, and he is not hesitant about anything. He said: “You have nothing from him except “That.” So he went off to swear, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: When he returned, he said: “If he swears on his wealth to consume it unjustly, he will meet God while he has turned away from it.” Narrated by Muslim
